Diane Shired, CTM (a.k.a. The   Renaissance Woman   ) President and founder of SHI-RED Inc. brought to this company in 1989 more then 15 years experience working in the computer industry. Diane's experience covered major companies such as AT&T (NJ), Blue Cross/Blue Shield (NJ), Squibb, Miles Lab, Schering, American Express (NY), Prudential Ins. (NJ), IMS America (NJ), CIT Financial (NJ), Informatic General Corp. (CA), Oppenheimer (CO) and many more. She also worked as a Computer Consultant in the northeast, midwest and on the west coast. She advanced the corporate ladder from programmer to project manager wherein she headed teams of programmers, analysts, and consultants in the development of major application systems. Her corporate title and expertise allow her to report directly to upper management.

Diane's experience covers the design and development of batch and on-line computer systems. Areas of experience included Project Management, Consulting, Information Research & Analysis, Statistics, Retail, Finance, Insurance, Stocks & Bonds, Communications, Customer Service, Costs & Estimates, Proposals, Planning, Scheduling, Interviewing, Employee Review, Software Training and Software Evaluation.

While raising four children and employed in full-time positions, Diane pursued a college education at Rutgers University (Newark, NJ) where she majored in Computer Science and held the office of Vice President of  "The University Club", she also attended Kean College (Union, NJ) where she majored in Management Science, and FIT (New York, NY) where she studied Fashion Designing and Computer Graphics. Her professional and business affiliations included such organizations as Data Processing Management Association (DPMA-member), New Jersey Association of Women Business Owners of NJ, Inc. (NJAWBO-board member), Coalition of 100 Black Women of NJ, Inc. (board member), New Jersey United Minority Business Brain Trust (NJUMBBT-executive member), Small Business Administration Score - Business Couselor) where she held the office of Women & Minority Business Ownership Coordinator of Ocean County and Toastmasters International (as an officer). Diane's community and Pro Bono services include computer enrichment training classes for the teachers throughout the Newark school district, volunteering at Harbor House (Toms River, NJ) and other advisory and mentor services in the northern and central New Jersey areas.

Diane's accomplishments include guest appearances on the Cable Television Network talk  shows (30 minutes each), "BUSINESS TALKS WITH BERTSCH" (1990), "WOMAN OF THE WEEK" (1995) and Commercials (1991-92) for the Dept. of Commerce & Energy Division of SWMB. She was nominated two years in a row for "ENTREPRENEUR OF THE YEAR" (1990-91). Ernest & Young, INC Magazine and Merrill Lynch sponsored the award. For her outstanding accomplishments and leadership, Diane also was selected for inclusion in "WHO'S WHO OF WOMEN EXECUTIVES" (1989), 2000 NOTABLE WOMEN IN AMERICA (1990), WHO'S WHO Among Executives & Professionals for Year 2000, WHO's WHO Among Executives & Professionals for Year 2002 and International WHO'S WHO of Professionals for Year 2000 & 2001. She was awarded a plaque from NJAWBO, certificates from The Coalition of 100 Black Women, Newark Metro Chamber of Commerce, the Newark Board of Education, Ocean County Voc-Tech and others for services rendered. Her past and present experiences as a mentor and motivator are very impressive.
